Hi, I’m Scarlett! I was born and raised in Vietnam, where coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s part of everyday life. Growing up surrounded by coffee culture, it’s safe to say coffee runs in my blood.

One of my favorite things about making coffee is seeing people enjoy that first sip. Whether it’s a morning pick-me-up or a special celebration, being able to create those moments brings me so much joy.

You might be wondering where the name Stubborn Grounds came from. Growing up, my childhood nickname was “Lì ,” which means “stubborn.” I’ve always been the type to chase big ideas, learn by doing and keep going even when things get challenging. So when it came to time to name my coffee cart, Stubborn Grounds felt like the perfect fit—a little nod to my roots, my personality, and my belief that the best things come from staying passionate and never giving up.
